Approved pilots are required to have both private and instrument ratings. In addition to required ratings all pilots must have Cirrus specific training.  Pilots with no Cirrus experience must have a minimum of 10 hours of flight and 5 hours of ground.  Ground training in addition to Cirrus specific details will include Avidyne Integra Avionics training, turbo-charged engine operation, high altitude flight and flying into icing conditions. 

Training flight hours will be deducted from the block time purchase or can be paid by the pilot as an additional charge.  Ground training will be at the rate of $95.00/hour.

Utilization of the aircraft can be on an hourly basis, daily basis, weekend or weekly basis.  There will be limitations on back to back weekly schedules and over holidays.  For example, a preferred pilot will be able to schedule the aircraft for a week over a specific holiday but would be unable to schedule for the next calendar holiday or for the same holiday for the following year
