Pilots who purchase 50, 75, or 100-hour blocks of flight time[1] and utilize this time over a 12-month period are automatically enrolled.   Time blocks are offered on a first-come-first served basis and will entitle the holder to preferred scheduling rights.

 

Details

 

·      Aircraft can be scheduled on an hourly, daily, weekend or weekly basis.[2]

·      Payment for the entire block will be in advance and scheduling will be accomplished through the Academy of Aviation Flight Training department at KHPN. 

·      There will be a small charge for repositioning from KHPN to and from KFRG for KFRG based pilots.

·   The block time hourly rate includes all direct operating costs of the aircraft including fuel, replacement parts and maintenance and all indirect operating costs including insurance and storage. 

·      Preferred Pilots are responsible for landing fees and overnight fees for airports other than KHPN and KFRG.

 

 

[1] Block hours purchased must be used within the 12-month period.  Any unutilized hours will be lost unless the pilot purchases an additional block for the next 12- month period.

 

[2]   Minimum daily charges will apply.

50 Hr Block

$475 / hr

75 Hr Block

$430 / hr

Rate includes all direct operating costs of the aircraft including fuel, replacement parts and maintenance and all indirect operating costs including insurance and storage.  In addition to the block time charge the preferred pilots would be responsible for landing fees and overnight fees for airports other than KHPN and KFRG.

100 Hr Block

$375 / hr

Rate includes all direct operating costs of the aircraft including fuel, replacement parts and maintenance and all indirect operating costs including insurance and storage.  In addition to the block time charge the preferred pilots would be responsible for landing fees and overnight fees for airports other than KHPN and KFRG.

FAQ By Pilots

Which Ratings should the Pilot have?

Approved pilots are required to have both private and instrument ratings. In addition to required ratings all pilots must have Cirrus specific training.

Permitted use of plane?

Personal and personal business flight are allowed. However flights cannot be “Used for Hire” or Charter (commercial)

What type of Experience should the Pilot have?

A minimum of 10 hours of flight [1] and 5 hours of ground in Cirrus SR22T, including Avidyne Integra Avionics training, turbo-charged engine operation. high altitude flight and flight into icing conditions.

 


[1] Any Required training flight hours will be deducted from the block time purchase or can be paid by the pilot as an additional charge.  Ground training will be at the rate of $95.00/hour.
